Engineer turned squire, Brigitte announced to be the 27th hero for Overwatch

Brigitte Lindholm, Age 28, will be the 27th hero added to the incredibly popular team-based competitive shooter, Overwatch. She will be the 7th hero to join the support roll.

Specializing in armor, Brigitte will have the ability to throw repair packs that heal teammates or provide an armor boost to anyone with more health. In addition, she can also pull out a frontal energy barrier to absorb damage.

Brigitte specializes in armor. She can throw Repair Packs to heal teammates, or automatically heal nearby allies when she damages foes with her Flail. Her Flail is capable of a wide swing to strike multiple targets, or a Whip Shot that stuns an enemy at range. When entering the fray, Barrier Shield provides personal defense while she attacks enemies with Shield Bash. Brigitte’s ultimate ability, Rally, gives her a substantial short-term boost of speed and provides long-lasting armor to all her nearby allies.

Brigitte is the youngest daughter of Torbjörn Lindholm, a weapons designer, and the first of his children to show an interest in mechanical engineering. She spent a lot of her time in his workshop, training to become an engineer until Reinhardt became a prominent figure in her life. Before he left, Brigitte asked him to allow her to become his squire. Now, she fights alongside Reinhardt to protect him.
