It’s gonna be a deluge of goodness with the announcement of the Meta Quest 3, and we’ve got our first batch — three new VR gems headed our way from nDreams.  You don’t need me to hold your hand — let’s go!!

FuturLab and nDreams are delighted to reveal that PowerWash Simulator VR will run amuck on Meta Quest 2 in 2023. Announced at today’s Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, PowerWash Simulator VR brings all the good clean fun and base game content from the smash hit PC and console versions while adding an extra layer of immersion and interactivity to busting dirt through the power of VR.

Wielding the power washer and blasting away grime feels even more satisfying in PowerWash Simulator VR thanks to precise 1:1 control that makes even the dirtiest of jobs a breeze. Players can get physical and tackle those hard-to-reach dirty spots like never before by stretching up, kneeling and leaning in to every nook and cranny or sit back and take the pressure off by washing their troubles away in the super-soothing simulator.

Purple Yonder and nDreams celebrated a whole year of Little Cities’ delightfully cozy city creation with the exclusive unveiling of a new trailer at today’s Meta Quest Gaming Showcase. The trailer also provided a first glimpse at the game’s upcoming Sandbox Update, their most ambitious free-form creative content, arriving in June 2023.

Little Cities has charmed players since launch with a slew of major updates that introduced bundles of new features including Hand Tracking support, monumental new Attractions, and even bringing Little Citizens to the streets of players’ creations. With the Sandbox Update, players will be able to craft their very own islands from scratch, promising limitless free-form fun in a truly dreamy setting

Ghostbusters: The Rise of Ghost Lord Strap on your proton pack and VR headset and step into the world of Ghostbusters in immersive virtual reality. Run your Ghostbusters HQ in a new city, San Francisco, and unravel a rich mystery in a new chapter of the Ghostbusters universe. Wield iconic equipment as you track, blast, and trap ghosts in gripping encounters across an extensive and engrossing campaign. Go it alone or join up to three friends in co-op to defeat a ghastly new threat – the Ghost Lord.

“Who is the Ghost Lord? Why is he in San Francisco? And why is he obsessed with the Ghostbusters? Fans have been asking us about Ghost Lord since we announced the name of the game, so we’re happy to finally share more about this supervillain that expands the Ghostbusters universe,” says Jake Zim, Senior Vice President, Virtual Reality, Sony Pictures Entertainment. “In our newest story trailer, players will begin to unravel the mystery of Ghost Lord along with tons of easter eggs that should be familiar for fans of the Ghostbusters franchise. The fate of the city, and the Ghostbusters’ legacy, lie in the hands of players who ain’t afraid of no ghost.”

All three of these games look fantastic, and they are all right around the corner.  I’ve been excited for some four player ghost busting since VR first started, so it’s great to see a game that looks worthy of the task.

Stay tuned as we’ll have more on these games and many more throughout the day.
